Think of Mukesh Khanna and the image of 'Shaktimaan' springs to mind. Or is it 'Bheeshma Pitamaha'. He is one of those rare actors who live out two screen characters. He rose to fame when the Mahabharata epic was produced into a television series in the late 1980s.
He played the role of Bheeshma, the aged partriach of the Kuru dynasty and the most powerful warrior general of the Kuru army.
His second T.V. appearance was as an Indian superhero in the Shaktiman series, which scored astounding success all over India with children. Presently he working in the television series Aryamaan as the character of the same name on Toon Disney in India.
